April 3, 2018 General Municipal Election
The hours for the polls are from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The last day to register to vote for this election is March 7, 2018
Absentee voting begins February 20, 2018
In order to vote absentee, you will need to fill out an Application for an Absentee Ballot which we can mail to you, you can pick up in our office, or you can print here. Please fill it out and mail it back to our office or return it in person along with a copy of your photo I.D., if possible.
The last day we can send you an absentee ballot by mail is March 28, 2018. You may still vote absentee in person during office hours in the County Clerk’s Office until 5:00 p.m. on April 2, 2018.
County Clerk Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closing from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch
Extended Office Hours: Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 31, 2018, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Monday, April 2, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The County Clerk’s Office will be conducting a public test of the voting equipment for the April 3, 2018 General Municipal Election in March. A specific date will be determined at a later date. This test will be held in the County Commissioners room of the Kingston Courthouse located at 49 E. Main.
